Despite being engaged in care, many HIV positive women still struggle with stigma, non-disclosure, isolation, depression, addiction and other barriers to health and well-being. Recognizing and addressing the high rates of trauma in this population holds the promise to reframe care and to help HIV-positive women realize their inherent health and power.
NCSD and NASTAD convened a Blue Ribbon Panel of experts from academia, city and state health departments, the CDC, and the NNPTC to develop optimal standards of client-focused clinical care for gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM). These standards illustrate the highest quality of sexual health care for MSM, expanding beyond federal guidelines to incorporate the collective experience of experts in the field of sexual health.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) is impacting the delivery of sexual health services in California and throughout the United States. Dr. Ina Park and Dr. Rosalyn Plotzker provide an overview of recent CDC recommendations for STD diagnosis and treatment when in-person exams and visits are limited. They also discuss best practices for the use of telehealth and home-testing for STD care and PrEP management.

Share implementation strategies for self-collected testing to minimize clinician exposure to COVID-19 when seeing clients for STD-related symptoms
