Judy Manyweather, MEd

Disease Intervention Trainer

Judy Manyweather is a disease intervention professional trainer. Prior to joining the CAPTC, she worked as a public health investigator for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services and as an educator and school principal for the Los Angeles Unified School District. She serves as a university supervisor and pool teacher in the California State University system mentoring new teachers. Judy is overjoyed by being able to merge her two careers and assist in building the capacity of future and current health professionals.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, her passion led her to work extensively with low income and disadvantaged populations throughout the Los Angeles area. She enjoys helping others become lifelong learners. Judy’s self care action plan consistent of walking the southern California beach paths, serving at church and soul line dancing.
