Working with People Living with HIV

The unique experience of living with HIV can challenge a client’s prevention efforts as well as their successful linkage to and utilization of care services.

This training provides a framework for understanding the shared experiences of people living with HIV including topics such as HIV-related stigma, sexual health, HIV status disclosure concerns and the potential challenges of treatment decisions. It also describes a strength-based approach to use in working with clients living with HIV.

This training is appropriate for providers or organizations serving people living with HIV.
